This section is dedicated to the youngest of the Hornsby District Cricket Club family - our Milo Cricketers! Many of our more senior Junior players are graduates of the Milo/Kanga cricket programme, which has now been run successfully at the club for many seasons.

2010/2011 program: When: Begins Saturday 30th October 08.30am – 10.00am and goes until the first Saturday in March 2011
Where: Storey Park, Asquith
“Milo in2CRICKET Have- A- Go” is a great way for boys and girls from ages 5 - 8 to learn and improve all aspects of the game of cricket in a fun and enjoyable environment. We start with set coaching areas in batting, bowling, catching, ground fielding and throwing tailored to suit skill levels followed by a BYO refreshment break. After drinks we have an exciting game of “Diamond Cricket” before we all retire to our backyards to practice what we have learned! For those kids coming back for a second season we’ll be incorporating more challenging practice sessions based on the “Milo Have- A- Game” program. This will lead to “Pairs Cricket” practice matches that will give participants confidence to move up to the under 8’s & 9’s the following season. The nominal $40.00 fee gives you so much you’d be mad not to “Give Milo a go”!
